Chargers Pick Up Fourth Win

In a non-district home game, the Bath County Chargers (4-8, 1-4) picked up their fourth win of the season following a 49-34 victory over the Pocahontas County Warriors (1-10, 0-3) on Tuesday. 

The Chargers were led by a team-high 14 points from Andrew Turner.

Leading the way for the Warriors was Dillon Dunz who had a team-high 14 points as well.

The Chargers fell behind early after the first quarter 12-9. However, the second quarter proved to the crucial part of the game as the Chargers held the Warriors to just five points and meanwhile put together their best quarter of the game with 16 points and took a 25-17 lead at the end of the first half. 

The Chargers outscored the Warriors 24-17 in the second half.
