Glenn Wilson Cauley, age 62, of 217 Thornhill Drive, Millboro, Virginia died Friday, December 2, 2022, at UVA Medical Center, Charlottesville, Virginia.
He was born August 23, 1960, in Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late Earl William Cauley, Sr. and Annie Louise Lindsay Cauley. He was a retired business co-owner for Blue Grass Woods and a former manager at Bacova Guild in Bath and Alleghany County. He loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed NASCAR.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Korey Lee Ryder and a niece, Laura Marie Shaffier.
He is survived by his fiancé, Vickie Ryder of Millboro; a daughter, Kimberly Keyser and husband, Moses “Moe” of Hot Springs; a son, Micheal Cauley of Hot Springs; a stepson, Shawn Ryder and wife, Kasey of Hot Springs; five sisters, Linda Shaffier and husband Carl of Warm Springs, Mary Robertson and husband Tommy, LeeLee Thompson and husband Dale, Sr., Barbara Ryder and husband Danny all of Millboro, Susie Mae Cauley of Burnsville; two brothers, Earl Cauley, Jr. and wife Lynn of Roanoke, Thomas Cauley of Millboro; a sister-in-law, Robin Stanley of Buchanan; two grandchildren, Haley Ryder and Logan Keyser; two step-grandchildren, Moses Keyser III and Ayden Keyser; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend David George officiating. Interment will follow in Windy Cove Presbyterian Cemetery, Millboro. Pallbearers will be Mike C., Austin T., Wade T., Jesse F., Clinton C., Mark M., Tyler T., Dale T. Jr., Greg T. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dennis C., Steven C. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at Nicely Funeral Home.
