“Getting Through the Holidays after a Loss” will be the theme of a grief support session sponsored by Mountain Regional Hospice. It will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 6 p.m. in the Family Life Center of First Christian Church, Covington.
Bill Gilliland, hospice chaplain and grief counselor, will facilitate the session which is open to anyone going through the grief journey.
Gilliland noted, “The Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons are really tough for folk who have faced the death of loved ones. We will plan to discuss ways to navigate this period which often creates pressures for families even in the best of times. But after a loss, for many, the times we normally look forward to are filled with sadness and dread.”
The Family Life Center is located at 231 E. Fudge St. with plenty of parking in the rear.
