West Virginia Secretary of State Mac Warner and Debbie Warner, his wife, greeted visitors attending the State Fair of West Virginia on Thurs., Aug. 18.
Mac, a veteran who graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, holds a master’s degree in international law from the University of Virginia and a juris doctor’s degree from West Virginia University.
Born in Feb. of 1955, Mac is a native of West Virginia, and he has held the office of West Virginia Secretary of State since 2017, after being elected as a Republican on Nov. 8, 2016.
Debbie was helping Mac distribute gifts of Natural Armor, a Veg Wash concentrate, which cleans vegetables safely and naturally with probiotics when mixed with water.
As they emptied box after box of the product that they gifted to those coming and going, the couple engaged visitors in conversation on the made-for-a-fair-day that was warm and sunny.
Debbie is a real estate agent for J.S. Walker Associates in Morgantown, W. Va.
The couple has four children: Krista Warner, Steven Warner, Lisa Warner and Scott Warner.
In addition to his other degrees, Mac holds his master’s in military law from Army Judge Advocate General’s School.
Like Mac, Debbie is from W. Va., and she has lived in Morgantown since 1977 where she is listed on the J.S. Walker Associates’ website as ranking in the top three percent as a realtor.
While the couple served as ambassadors of goodwill on the fairground’s parking area, thousands of visitors inside the fairgrounds were soaking up the sunlight while riding rides, milling about while viewing the attractions, standing in line for concessions, and slowly edging in the long line of country music fans edging toward the grandstand where the “Zach Bryan Concert” was scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
