Jailyn Ford twirled her fourth no-hitter of the season and the 14th of her stellar career as the Bath County Chargers blanked the Pendleton County (W.Va.) Wildcats 9-0 Wednesday. Ford struck out 14 and her only blemish of the game came in the first inning when she hit the second batter she faced. Battery mate, catcher Amanda Shifflett, erased that runner from the base paths by throwing her out at second and the Wildcats would not reach base the rest of the game.
